  • Enroll in Eat Shed Glow® coaching services including the Eat Shed Glow® Method and Eat Shed Glow® Lifestyle

  • Purchase products or services, including billing information and addresses

  • Subscribe to our newsletter (unsubscribe anytime)

  • Contact us with inquiries or feedback

  • Communicate via text or email as part of your coaching

b. Health Information

As part of our coaching services, we may collect health-related information you choose to share, such as:

  • Dietary habits and preferences

  • Exercise routines

  • Health goals

  • Medical history relevant to nutrition

  • Current medications including GLP-1 drugs such as Ozempic, Wegovy, or Mounjaro (if applicable)

  • Hormonal status including perimenopause or menopause (if applicable)

  • History of disordered eating or eating disorders (if disclosed)

Note: We collect health information only with your explicit consent and solely for providing personalized nutrition coaching. Health information is never used for marketing purposes.

3. Use of Your Information

  • Process transactions and payments including recurring monthly billing for Eat Shed Glow® Lifestyle

  • Provide text and email support as part of your coaching

  • Send proactive check-ins, accountability reminders, and follow-up communications as part of your coaching experience

  • Send newsletters and marketing materials (with consent)

  • Improve our services based on usage patterns

  • Create anonymized, non-identifying case studies or outcome data for professional and marketing purposes

  • Ensure compliance with our Coaching Agreement and policies

  • Communicate updates about your coaching and subscription

  • Refer clients to appropriate professionals when needs exceed the scope of nutrition coaching

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share information only as follows:

  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist with payment processing (Squarespace, Klarna), subscription billing (Squarespace), email communications, scheduling and video sessions (Zoom, calendar services), website hosting (Squarespace), and analytics (Google Analytics, Squarespace Analytics).

  • Referral Partners: If Coach recommends therapeutic support (such as Refresh Therapy NYC) or medical and hormonal support (such as Midi Health), only your first name and general reason for referral will be shared, and only with your explicit verbal or written consent.

  • Legal Obligations: When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. You will be notified of any such change.

5. Security of Your Information

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures including:

  • Encrypted data transmission (SSL/TLS)

  • Secure storage of personal information

  • Limited access to personal data (Coach only, unless otherwise disclosed)

  • Password-protected devices and accounts

  • Regular security assessments

However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information as follows:

  • Client records: 7 years after coaching completion (for legal and professional requirements)

  • Health coaching notes: 3 years after last session

  • Text message communications: Duration of coaching plus 1 year

  • Payment records: As required by tax law (typically 7 years)

  • Subscription billing records: Duration of active subscription plus 7 years

  • Marketing communications: Until you unsubscribe

  • Free consultation notes: 1 year if Client does not enroll

Upon request, we will delete your personal information subject to legal retention requirements. Anonymized data used for case studies or outcome reporting is not subject to deletion requests as it cannot be linked back to you.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Squarespace-hosted Site uses cookies to:

  • Remember your preferences

  • Analyze Site usage

  • Improve user experience

  • Track marketing effectiveness

You can manage cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect Site functionality. We honor Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals where technically feasible.

By enrolling in Eat Shed Glow® coaching services, you consent to receive text messages from Coach related to your coaching. This includes the Eat Shed Glow® Method and Eat Shed Glow® Lifestyle. Text support is available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.

As part of the coaching service, Coach may proactively reach out via text for check-ins, accountability reminders, and follow-up support. These communications are part of the coaching experience you enrolled in and are not unsolicited.

  • Text messages are for coaching-related support only

  • Message frequency varies based on your coaching and needs

  • Standard message and data rates may apply

  • You may opt out of text communications at any time by texting STOP or emailing coco@eatshedglow.com, though this may limit the support included in your coaching

  • Text message content is confidential and will not be shared with third parties

10. Subscription Billing

For clients enrolled in Eat Shed Glow® Lifestyle, your payment method will be charged automatically on a monthly basis on the same date each month. You will receive a reminder email 15 days before each renewal. You may cancel at any time before your next billing date by logging into your account or contacting coco@eatshedglow.com. Cancellation stops future charges. Each completed monthly payment is non-refundable.

11. Third-Party Links

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites including:

  • Social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn)

  • Partner services (Refresh Therapy NYC, Midi Health, Klarna)

  • Resource websites

  • Affiliate product links (Amazon Associates and similar programs)

We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their privacy policies before providing information.

12. Children's Privacy

Our services are designed for adults only and are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we discover we have collected information from someone under 18, we will promptly delete it.

13. International Data Transfers

We operate primarily in the United States. If you access our Site from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States in accordance with US data protection laws. By using our Site, you consent to this transfer.

For clients in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom (UK): Your data is processed on the basis of your explicit consent provided at enrollment. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, though this may result in termination of coaching services.

By providing your email address through any free Eat Shed Glow® touchpoint — including booking a free consultation, requesting free resources, or submitting a contact form — you will be automatically added to The Monthly Newsletter. This is disclosed at the point of sign-up and you may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.

By signing up for The Monthly Newsletter directly, you consent to receive monthly emails from Eat Shed Glow LLC containing nutrition tips, product recommendations, wellness content, and promotional offers. Your email address will never be sold or shared with third parties.

Active coaching clients consent to receive:

  • Coaching-related communications (required while enrolled)

  • Support messages and proactive check-ins during their coaching

  • Subscription renewal reminders for Eat Shed Glow® Lifestyle

  • Marketing communications including The Monthly Newsletter

  • Important updates about services and policies

You may opt-out of marketing communications and The Monthly Newsletter at any time by clicking unsubscribe or emailing coco@eatshedglow.com. You cannot opt-out of coaching-related communications while enrolled in active Eat Shed Glow® coaching.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active clients via email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
